The history of the foundation of Building Trust №8 in Brest city began in May 1957, when, according to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic and according to the Order of Glavstroy of BSSR Trust areas № 7 of Brest, № 5 of Baranovichi and №16 of Pinsk of the Ministry of rural and urban building, Brest administration of supervision over construction works (UNR) № 927 of the Ministry of building of BSSR and transport column were united and reformed into Brest area Building Trust №8.
Afterwards, due to the rapid development of construction of industrial buildings, residential and social buildings on the base of the subdivisions of Building Trust №8 the following trusts were founded: in 1960 - trust № 25 in Baranovichi, in 1966 - trust «Brestoblselstroy», in 1967 - trust № 2 in Pinsk, in 1970 – Brest residential building plant, in 1989 - trust № 33 in Kobrin and in 1991 - trust № 34 in Brest.
In the nearest future we plan to develop the structure of our production, to adopt new forms and methods of construction works.
So, in 1965 we started large-panel building construction, in 1967 we founded a specialized department for the construction of health care objects, cultural and residential objects. In 1969 we founded CA-158 for the purpose of the organization of erection of reinforced-concrete frames of buildings and erection of zero-circles, underground communications and improvement of territory.
September of 1971 brought an important event in the life of our Republic, as or trust finished the construction of Memorial complex "Brestskaya Fortress-Hero".
The organization of trolleybus communication in 1981 was a great present to our city, and our trust also participated in its organization.
Next step in our history was the foundation of new companies and subdivision, the actual number of which is 14.
In 2005 from the Republican Unitary Building Company trust was reorganized into Open Joint-Stock Company "Building Trust №8".
